或許，我們對於過去，對於歷史，天生懷有一種無法動搖的抗拒，除非它以神話的形式出現。從此，過去與現在同樣確實，我們在紙上所見，與我們指尖所觸，無異真實。源於那些真正屬於它的事物邊界，納入所有真正屬於它的部分，它才得以完整。

Perhaps we are born with an unshakable resistance to the past—to history—unless it returns to us in the form of myth. Only then does the past become as tangible as the present; what is seen on paper feels no less real than what we touch with our fingertips. It is only when history gathers all that truly belongs to it—within the edges that rightfully define it—that it may become whole.
